Working on the mustang

Postby 68mustang on Sat Apr 03, 2010 10:04 am

Decided to put a faster motor in my '68 GT. We chose an 89 GT 5.0HO that we had wrecked and took the motor out of it

Took the top end off and cleaned it up, painted it

Dropped it in..

Its not running yet, but it should be by tonight. I put an E-303 Cam, GT-40P heads(has some work done to it, better springs, ported a little), shorty headers, put a 650 Edelbrock carb and a performer WEIAND intake.. but I'm looking for a 650 Holly and a victor Jr intake and some long tubes. Gonna take it to the track next weekend and I will be back to post some numbers :beatentodeath:
