LTX Shootout is going to be here in Bowling Green at Beech Bend. The shootout is for any automobile that's powered by an LT1, LT4 or LT5. There are several classes to compete in, and lots of fun to be had. We hope to see everyone there! If enough people from the group wanna go then I'll try to get them to let us set up a tent there. I'll probably be running in both the Index and Bracket classes. Let me know if you have any questions!

I have seen a few chevy powered fox bodys, wonder if there will be any there? You guys do some impressive stuff with these engines. Sorry I don't speak chevy, but is the LT a short block and the LS a long block? What is the diff in them?

LT motors were from 93-97 in camaros, impalas, and corvettes. I don't know the exact years for them in Impalas and Corvettes but 93-97 is when they were in camaros. Anything from 98+ is LS powered. LT based engines are basically just a chevy small block that has a spline driven water pump, and opti spark distributor, and a few other distinguishing features. LS based motors have a completely different block.
