I heard cableguyUSMC13 from BGm bought a hood of boss inc and it just broke in half on him while he was driving down the interstate and that boss inc hoods are bad quality.. Is that true??

look at it this way he was running 150 mph without hood pins he's lucky the only thing that happened was the hood flew apart. Every hood company that I have ever seen recomends hood pins for Fiberglass hoods with any form of cowl induction.

no he put on facebook he was running 160+ but yea man iv heard many things about boss inc. being crapy hoods but the guys on BGM are the only ones iv ever heard this from what iv seen as far as hoods boss puts alot more time into makein there hoods nice u dont see many after market hoods that take the time to make the bottom look as good as the top but boss does and from what iv read up on boss incs. black gel coat makes them alot stonger then all the other fiber glass hoods then theres the fact they have been tested at how many psi bubba?? i done forgot.

I think you told me a little over 80, this was the day after you got the hood, on AIM.

yea 80psi thats right there hoods have been tested at 80psi for 10 days and not one of mounting spots was hurt and the hood had no cracks 68mustang look at it this way BGM says boss inc. hoods are no good but cableguyUSMC13 got one and from what iv seen on his facebook he's going to get a hood from them again so they cant be as bad as they say
